Description
A quick, creamy, and spiced cold brew coffee drink made with pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and pumpkin spice. It tastes like autumn in a glass and takes only 5 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cold brew coffee
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pie filling)
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons sweetener (maple syrup or brown sugar)
- Pinch of salt
- Extra pumpkin spice for garnish (optional)
- Caramel drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- If using hot coffee, brew it strong and let it cool completely to create cold brew.
- In a small bowl, combine heavy cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, sweetener, and a pinch of salt.
- Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth, pale orange, and slightly thickened.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
- Gently spoon the pumpkin cream mixture over the back of a spoon to float it on top of the coffee.
- Dust with extra pumpkin spice or drizzle with caramel if desired.
- Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.
Notes
Ensure you use 100% pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream. To prevent dilution, use coffee ice cubes. The pumpkin cream topping can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the fridge.
