Caramel Apple Moscow Mule: 1 Easy Fall Cocktail

  • Author: Rhea
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A festive and easy-to-make fall cocktail combining tart apple cider, rich caramel sauce, and spicy ginger beer with a kick of vodka, served in a copper mug.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240ml) 100% pure apple cider
  • 2 ounces (60ml) vodka
  • 4 ounces (120ml) ginger beer
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) thick caramel sauce
  • 0.5 ounce (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • Apple slices for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Fill copper mugs or glasses with crushed ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka and apple cider. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds to chill and integrate.
  3. Add caramel sauce and fresh lemon juice to the shaker. Stir gently or shake briefly to blend the caramel.
  4. Strain the vodka-cider-caramel mixture into the ice-filled mugs.
  5. Top each mug with ginger beer, pouring slowly to preserve carbonation.
  6. Garnish with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill vodka in the freezer before making. Warm caramel sauce slightly if it is too thick to pour easily. Do not mix ginger beer ahead of time as it will go flat. The base mixture (vodka, cider, caramel, lemon) can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
